Copper and Lumber Store Historic Inn

Occupying one of the original Georgian buildings inside Nelson's Dockyard — a structure dating to 1783 — this unique country inn offers fourteen suites and studios that are unlike any other accommodation in Antigua. Each room is named after one of Lord Nelson's ships and furnished with authentic antiques, period pieces, old sailing prints and four-poster canopy beds that complement the weathered brickwork, hand-hewn beams and mellow brass fixtures throughout.

All fourteen units are individually decorated, meaning no two rooms are alike. Suites include a separate living room, while studios provide a self-contained living area — both layouts ideal for guests who prefer spacious, apartment-style comfort over a standard hotel room. Every unit is equipped with the following:

The combination of indoor elegance and outdoor greenery creates a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere in the very centre of the Dockyard.

Beach Access

The inn does not have its own beach, but Galleon Beach on the opposite side of the harbour is easily reached by a short water taxi ride of approximately five minutes — a beautiful and convenient option for guests wishing to spend time by the sea.
