Entry Procedures

Yacht Entry & Clearance

All visiting yachts must clear customs and immigration on arrival. The process is straightforward at any of Antigua's official ports of entry.

1

Fly the Yellow Q Flag

On arrival, fly the yellow quarantine flag. No crew or passengers may go ashore until clearance is completed.

2

Proceed to a Port of Entry

Head to English Harbour, Falmouth Harbour, Jolly Harbour, St. John's Deep Water Harbour, or Crabbs Marina for official clearance.

3

Clear Customs & Immigration

The captain must present ship's papers, crew passports, and a completed crew list. Customs charges apply based on vessel length.

4

Obtain a Cruising Permit

A cruising permit is issued for the duration of your stay, allowing you to anchor and dock at other locations around the island.

Ports of Entry

  • English Harbour (Nelson's Dockyard)
  • Falmouth Harbour Marina
  • Jolly Harbour Marina
  • St. John's Deep Water Harbour
  • Crabbs Marina (North Sound)

Important Information
