Tamarind Hills Resort and Villas
About This Restaurant
Perched on a bluff between Darkwood and Ffryes beaches on Antigua's western shore, Tamarind Hills offers its guests and visitors two beautifully positioned dining venues, each making the most of the resort's spectacular sunset-facing outlook over the Caribbean Sea.
Beachside dining at Ffryes Beach
The first of the resort's dining options is an informal venue set at the edge of Ffryes Beach, looking out over the property's infinity-edged pool and tiered patio decks. Ideal for relaxed breakfasts and leisurely lunches, the setting is wonderfully casual, with the Caribbean breeze and the soft sounds of the sea providing a natural backdrop. It is a charming spot to begin the day or to refuel after a morning on one of the island's most picturesque stretches of sand.
Main restaurant — panoramic views across the Caribbean
The principal restaurant at Tamarind Hills commands expansive, uninterrupted views across the Caribbean Sea to the horizon. Open for both lunch and dinner, the menu features an international selection designed to complement the quality and style of the wider resort. Guests are seated with magnificent panoramic vistas that are particularly spectacular as the sun drops toward the water during the evening service.
Al fresco dining within the villas
For guests staying in the resort's beachfront and oceanfront villas, the option of private al fresco dining is also available. Each villa features a fully equipped BBQ on its wrap-around deck, providing a wonderful setting for entertaining or an intimate dinner under the stars with the Caribbean Sea as a backdrop.
Location and nearby dining
The resort is ideally positioned close to several of the west coast's most celebrated dining destinations. Sheer Rocks, one of Antigua's most highly regarded restaurants, is a short walk along the beach, as is Dennis's Bar — a popular island rendezvous renowned for its Sunday suckling pig roast.
Reservations are advisable, particularly during peak season. Contact the resort directly by phone at +1 (268) 562-7380 or visit www.tamarind-hills.com for further information.
