Beside the calm waters of Willoughby Bay on Antigua's south-eastern coast, Slates Restaurant & Bar offers a dining experience that is equal parts world-class and wonderfully relaxed. The restaurant is the culinary venture of Colin McGurran — the chef behind Michelin-starred Winteringham Fields in the UK — who, after five years of island life, channelled his passion for exceptional food into this intimate, warmly inviting space co-founded with his partner Bex.

The kitchen draws on Michelin-starred technique without sacrificing the laid-back spirit of island living.
